#UKNewsThe UK is again finding favour with desi students, thanks to relaxed visa rules and improving job prospects. Quartz reports that 19, 750 Indians enrolled in British institutes in 2017-18, rising from 16, 550 in 2016-17 and reversing a decade-long decline. Over half the students were pursuing post-graduate degrees, with business and engineering the most popular streams. The UK is going all out to boost its image as an education destination in the wake of Brexit, with proposals such as no cap on skilled work visas and a longer stay for international students after their degrees end.
